Oh baby!

David and I are expecting at the end of January. God has a funny way of laughing at your plans and then showing you plans of His own!

Tomorrow will be 7 weeks exactly. We go back to the OB on the 18th to see a heartbeat!

Last Weekend

Less broken tile, more wood floors, and a shot out window. Wow it seems like every weekend since we closed on the house has been SOOO busy. Last weekend I air chiseled up the tile in front of the fireplace b/c 2 of the tiles were broken...look at me go:

<--- Ok this was when I started chiseling by hand...2 minutes later I smartened up and got out the air chisel.

David and his dad started on the wood floors:

The horrible news.....we had one of our bedroom windows broken by a vandal with a pellet gun:

The Painting is Finished!!..well almost

So David finished painting the super high ceiling:

...and I painted the front door!

All we have left to do is finish painting the baseboards and then the flooring begins!!!

Weekend Work

Hmm...what did we do this weekend? We had our new microwave installed Friday...thanks mom and dad for the awesome gift!

We also pulled up all the disgusting carpet:

...and David did the front landscaping:

I'm sure we did more...but this is all I can think of at the moment!

soooo tired!!!

So yesterday we spent 8 hours at the new house. Painting, more painting, changing the locks, mowing the lawn, edging, weed-eating, and did I mention MORE painting? We are beyond exhausted, but we have almost covered all the canary yellow the previous owners left behind. Big thanks to our family for helping us out big time this weekend!

Closing Day!

Today was closing day on our house..woo hoo!!!! Tomorrow it will be officially official when the funding goes through. Check out what our realtor brought us at closing:

New Bedding!!!

So today Mr. Forever gave me the go ahead to buy NEW bedding for our new BIG bed that we are inheriting from his grandparents. I wanted something really fresh and light..check it out!
